Adler Pelzer Group and Hayashi Telempu establish a Joint Venture in Japan to support New Energy Vehicle acoustic and thermal solutions

The two leading automotive suppliers established a joint venture, “NEVHA corporation”, in order to support Japanese automotive manufacturers with research and development activities focusing on NEV, New Energy Vehicles such as EV, EV Hybrid, and Alternative Energy Vehicles.

Adler Pelzer Group (headquartered in Witten, Germany) and Hayashi Telempu (headquartered in Nagoya, Japan), have established a new joint venture for R&D activities on acoustic and thermal solutions for New Energy Vehicles, in the moving environment of vehicle propulsion systems away from conventional engines.

The two independent companies are leaders in the automotive acoustic fields in the different regions of the world. Adler Pelzer Group is an acoustic and thermal systems manufacturer; Hayashi Telempu is a system integrator and manufacturer. The automotive manufacturers will benefit from this cooperation for the development phase in Japan as well as for the manufacturing phase, with a combined global plants network.

The joint venture will expand on existing technologies and expertise from both companies, as well as on the unmatched collaboration of Adler Pelzer Group in acoustics with leading EV companies, including Tesla.  It will profit from the robust benchmark database collected over the last decade, combined with the powerful proprietary suite of simulation and testing tools.

NEVHA Corporation is located in Toyota-city, Japan. Operations will be starting on April 1st, 2018.
